Yard Sale

On Saturday, September 15, SHS will hold it’s 2nd Yard Sale of the year. We raised over $1200 in the 1st sale, but have lots of good stuff left over. Cliff has been helping a neighbor clean out a house and collecting even more items. The Yard Sale will take place outdoors at the grange (or inside in bad weather). If you have stuff left over from your own yard sale, this is a great opportunity to clear it out and recover that space. Bring it to the grange any Tuesday between now & the 15th. Speak with Cliff or Beth if you need to make special arrangements. We can also use volunteers to help on the day of the sale. Whether you help, donate items, or come to shop, your support is greatly appreciated.

Business Meeting

The September Business meeting has been moved from the normal 2nd Tuesday to the 3rd Tuesday of the month. This is due to our wandering President climbing mountains out west on the 11th. Don’t we have enough mountains in New England? 😉

Happy Birthday Party

On Tuesday, September 18, Sidney Historical Society turns 10 Years Old. And since it just so happens to be the day of our business meeting, we thought we should celebrate. No specific plans at this time, so we would love to hear ideas from members (and volunteers to make it happen).
